Explaining, not shouting
You should understand why a stroke works. Then eventually you will not need me any more.

Athletic tutor
Former professional footballer, today an athletic tutor. Based in Vorarlberg, working between Switzerland and western Austria.
As a former professional footballer and active tennis coach, I help children and teenagers reach their sporting goals with enthusiasm. My approach combines professional expertise with genuine joy of play: sport should never be a means of pressure, but a field where children build confidence, discipline and above all passion.
My own professional career in football taught me the physical and mental demands of competitive sport first-hand. Over the past three years as a tennis coach I have specialised in passing that experience on in an age-appropriate, playful way. On the football pitch or the tennis court, I develop ball sense, tactics and joy of movement — adapted to each individual child.
One thing never changes: I explain why something works, not just that it is done this way. Anyone who understands will eventually correct themselves. That is the goal.
Roots
Austrian second division, Austrian youth national team. The years in which I learned from the other side what competitive sport does to a young person.
What stays is less the technique than a feel for how quickly joy turns into pressure — and how little it takes for a child to stop asking questions.
So today I work the way I would have wanted back then: explain rather than instruct, one topic per session, and the question at the start of whether someone came gladly. On the tennis court just as on the pitch.
In short
You should understand why a stroke works. Then eventually you will not need me any more.
Fifteen corrections achieve nothing. One that sticks changes the whole game.
Children who like coming, come back. Children who come back get better. It really is that simple.
